Let Me Introduce Myself

Happy 4th of July! I thought I'd start this blog off by helping you get to know me a little better. So, here are 20 completely random facts about me:
1. My top 3 biggest fears are snakes, spiders, and small spaces
2. I love going to the beach, but I hate sand
3. I'm currently obsessed with Maren Morris and I can listen to all of her songs on repeat all day long
4. I actually like giving gifts more than receiving them
5. My favorite animals are giraffes and dolphins
6. One of my goals in life is to one day have a pet goat named Penelope (yes, I'm serious)
7. My zodiac sign is a Pisces, which is notoriously known for being a creative daydreamer
8. I have a dog named Tucker and he's the most precious thing ever
9. My 3 worst habits are chewing my lip, biting my nails, and jumping to the worst conclusion
10. I have 1 half-brother and 2 step-brothers
11. I've always wanted to live in a big house with a few kids and several pets
12. My favorite breed of dog is a Siberian Husky
13. I love horror movies. Not the cheesy ones, but the really creepy ones that give you terrible nightmares
14. I absolutely love thunderstorms
15. I can't stand talking on the phone
16. I'm actually not a big fan of chocolate. I like it, but I prefer fruity candy
17. I DESPISE doing laundry
18. I like big words (like ambidextrous) and I love to learn new ones
19. My favorite movie is The Princess Bride
20. I have never been able to whistle

So, that's a short introduction to me! Hopefully, I'll be spending my 4th at the pool if the weather cooperates. Let me know what you guys are up to today! :)

I'm the type of person who wants to please everyone. Well, I used to be that type of person. It's great to be a nice person who is always reliable and who everyone else counts on to always say yes to pretty much anything. That is, it's great until always saying yes becomes a burden and starts to negatively impact you. If being the reliable person ends up dragging you down and being detrimental to your health, it's not worth it! If you're afraid to say no to your friends then they aren't the types of friends you need to surround yourself with. It's okay to say NO! Pet Peeves!

Here are some of my biggest pet peeves. I have much more, but these are the top ones. What are some of your pet peeves? 1. People who don't use their blinkers. Seriously, it's really simple! 2. Cops who ride your butt and try to push you to speed. I don't speed anyway, but I certainly wouldn't with a cop right behind me. 3. Arriving late to anything 4. People who don't believe in personal space 5. Terrible grammar 6. People who play music or watch videos on their phone without headphones (in public) 7. Traffic 8. Solicitors who knock on doors that clearly have "no soliciting" signs on the door 9. People who constantly stare at other people 10. Tangled headphones
